Ejea in the Ebro Region

The Ebro Region is an inter-territorial entity that aims to support the interests of the communities of Aragon, Navarra and La Rioja that are irrigated by the Ebro River.

It is a noteworthy agri-food area due to being one of the locations showing the most favourable development in Spain, particularly in economic and social terms, and it has vast prospects for future specialisation.

Ejea de los Caballeros is in the centre of the Ebro Region, with its extensive agri-food potential, strong agricultural sector and an agri-food sector including companies that have broad national and international reach.

It has R&D transfer centres, a leading pig sector throughout its entire value chain, livestock farmers and farmers distinguished for their expertise, technical training and the experience of entities such as Campus Iberus, the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute, the Agri-Food Research and Technology Centre of Aragon, the Aula Dei Experimental Station or the Spanish National Centre for Food Safety and Technology.
